1 lb lowfat Italian Sausage (I like Hot)
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 small green pepper diced
1 14.5 can diced tomatoes ( I like garlic and basal)
2 cans beef broth
1 cup frozen green beans
Brown sausage, onion and pepper and drain.
Place in slow cooker along with tomatoes, and broth. Last hour of cooking and green beans. Cover and cook in slow cooker on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Per cup Net Carbs 2

Im wondering about that net carb count. Onions and tomatoes are very high in carbs. Am I just nutz?

My friend made this tonight for dinner for us. It was so delicious!!!!!!!!!!! She made little sausage meatballs to put in it....delicious!!!!!! WOW!

I added this up on FatSecret as best as I could. Depending on how many servings it makes ...
For 6 servings, I came up with 3.7 carbs.
For 8 servings, I came up with 2.8 carbs.
My calculations might be off a bit, but it seems pretty close. Sounds like a great low-carb soup.
