Ingredients

    * 1/4 cup shortening
    * 2 pounds lean beef chuck, trimmed and cut into 1 inch cubes
    * 1 cup chopped onion (you can reduce this to half a cup but this recipe is 6 servings so you don't have to)
    * 1 clove garlic, minced
    * 3/4 cup ketchup(replace with sugar free-at any grocery store)
    * 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    * 1 tablespoon brown sugar(replace with sugar free log cabin maple syrup)
    * 2 teaspoons salt
    * 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
    * 2 teaspoons paprika
    * 1 1/2 cups water
    * 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour(omit this-I don't think you need a thickner,but if you do use guam)
    * 1/4 cup water

and I always add red ground pepper for some heat
What time is dinner??? ;D

Thanks Umpa, that was easy, I never thought about sugar free maple syrup to replace the brown sugar, this is one of Jamie's Fav's minus the real meat that is.
