Savory is a texture that gives us satisfaction in foods more than any other and savory is certainly the description of this stew. The combination of butter, cream and cheese bring out the tantalizing feelings from your taste buds. This complete dinner in a bowl is sure to please everyone in the family.

 
Creamy Cauliflower Chicken Stew



Ingredients

4 chicken legs or thighs
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/3rd cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese (Don't use the pre-grated caned stuff, too salty)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic diced
8 large cauliflower florets
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/3rd cup chopped green pepper
1/3rd cup sliced okra
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1-Heat the olive oil up over medium heat in a non stick skillet
2-Season the chicken with salt and pepper then pan fry till almost cooked through
3-Reduce the heat to medium low and place all the remaining ingredients into the skillet and cover
4-Simmer for 15 minutes then serve.

I really like boneless, skinless chicken thighs cooked on the grill. Would those also work in this recipe?
