Funny 'taste' in mouth
« on: May 15, 2012, 07:11:01 AM »
Has anyone else suffered from this?  The past week or so I have a funny 'taste' or 'sensation' in my mouth. At first I thought it was bad breath, but no-one has complained.  It feels like I should have a peppermint or brush my teeth, but that doesn't really help (the teeth brushing, I don't have the peppermint).

Ketosis can cause this sensation in some people. Get some Ice Breaker sugar free mints  ;)

Yep. I know what you are talking about-it's like a metallic taste. :P I chew sugar free gum to help and drink tons of h2o.

Yep!... It's a symptom of ketosis.
For some, the breath gets very bad.
Others don't have any breath issues. I don't.

Nothing to worry about.
Sugar free gum and mints are good ways to help.

And like Tonia, drink lots and lots of PLAIN water! ;D ;D ;D
