Thanks Tony, I'm really trying to stick to my lifestyle change. Low carb eating definitely makes me feel my best. Yes my doctors are aggressively trying to get my medication dosage correct. It's an up and down battle because my levels fluctuates up and down between blood works. I'm hopeful that eventually I will stabilize as we get closer to my correct dosage. Then I pray the weight melts off like butter on top of a nice, fluffy, steaming hot serving of mocked mashed potatoes  ;) :P ;D

General Discussion / Update!!!

As many of you know I have been battling like many others with hypothyroidism. My doctors have been working with medication to get my levels back to normal range. My weight loss was halted for a while but is decreasing now. My top weight was over 450lbs. I now weigh 410lbs, I still have a long way to go but I'm very happy to be losing. Thanks for all of your encouraging sentiments, they truly inspired me to stay true to low carb eating. I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress. I pray you all are having success with your low carb lifestyle as well.

Thanks Tony, I will keep your encouragement in mind. So happy to hear that your wife was able to get her thyroid regulated and has loss weight. It gives me hope that once I'm regulated, I will as well ;)

Hi all, I got my email reminding me to check back in. I've been so very frustrated with my progress!!! I have hypothyroidism and the weight seems to want to stick like Gorilla Glue. My doctor said having this condition makes losing weight very hard. This news is so discouraging. I have so much weight to lose and at this rate it seems I'll need ETERNITY to get it off. I am on thyroid med, I pray my thyroid levels will increase   >:(

Thanks Doug! I have a Nook, so I'll be purchasing the ebook soon. Until then I'll stick to my sugar free jello and occasional piece of Russell Stovel sugar free candy. It worth every compromise to continue to be successful on my plan. Thanks again!

Thanks Doug and Umpa, I can't wait to try the eggnog. I love it and knowing I can have this all year round is such a treat. I just ordered my "Fat To Skinny Zero Sweetener" on Amazon.com I can't wait to receive it, the reviews praise it as being the BEST!
