Can this be made without a Ice cream maker ?

You can try Jo if you are using a standmixer.It gets really thick in the standmixer.The colder the cream the thicker it gets.The last time I was at walmart they had ice cream makers for $19.99 . ;)
I am amking gelato today.Will let you know how it turns out. ;)
