I'm very proud to announce that on January 3rd Sherripie will join me on the national stage! We will have a double segment on a morning show called "The Daily Buzz" Daily Buzz is a major TV show airing in more than 150+ markets daily nationwide. The first segment will feature my sugar demonstration including a wheelbarrow full of sugar, immediately following we step into the second segment with Sherri, myself and the Buzz hosts discussing her success and the change it's made in her life.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the Daily Buzz show in your area for January 3rd!

I think you should come to Murphy next summer when they are back in Maggie Valley. You can meet in the middle! I might show up!

Owensmath, that is a GREAT idea! I'd drive to Murphy anytime to meet up with ya'll. We should plan that next Summer for real! (Then again, I'd definitely be willing to go back to the Keys again if we need to!! ha ha) ;D
Umpa, I did order my book from Doug, so YAY!!! I'd LOVE an autographed copy!! Wow! As for your question, I live in Gainesville, which is about 50 miles NE of Atlanta. I'm down near Atlanta at least once a month going to visit my daughter. Her college is just west of the city in Marietta, Ga.

I have been trying to find this station and show but it is not picked up by the Canadian cable companies. I tried to stream a live broadcast but they have it blocked for international viewing. Doug could you please make sure you post a video of this show so we all can watch. I don't want to miss this!

Doug, they have the live feed blocked for Canadians. Could you or someone please record this and post so those not in the US can watch too. I am so excited for SherriPie (and you) and I would hate to miss this. Congrats to all!!

I watched the whole time it was on. Boy they went way to fast!!! Although they did talk about it several times. Doug you did great!! ;D ;D I was sad that I didn't see Sherri. Is there going to be another day or did they just run out of time to have her on?? Great job though ;)

Doug must have been on during the first hour because I watched the last two hours and only saw them give his list of tips. The funny thing is that the video they ran next to his list of tips showed lots of high carb foods like spaghetti.

We just finished taping and it was SO fun! Doug rocked it of course and I just smiled and talked and talked. LOL
Doug did the Daily Buzz but they cut the second segment with me in it. So I just was on the GalTime show with Doug. They are going to send us links for the forum so everyone can watch. It was a really fun experience and great to finally meet Doug in person. I am posting a couple of pics below. You have GOT to see Doug's truck, it was awesome. Missed you Umpa! I was hoping you would be there :(

I was more nervous about not being skinny enough to tell people about loosing weight, than the actual act of being on there. Being on the show was a lot of fun and Doug was giving me pointers so it all went smoothly.

I watched you guys this morning and was so happy to see FTS being featured on TV again.
I pray it gets more folks to change their high carb ways and join us.

So excited!! I got to see Doug on the live feed this morning, but had to leave for work after that. I can't WAIT to see the taping of YOU Sherri!!! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Oviedo is about 30 minutes from me. We live on the Orlando/Windermere line so we are way SW Orlando. And yes...let's send Doug to the TV station and you and I go hit the coasters. :)

He is just loving it Jo. We are doing Florida Virtual school so it's basically public school but at home via the internet. He has teachers for all his classes so if he needs help he has it. I help fulltime here with him and teach the classes, like you would homeschooling but it's nice to have back up if I don't get something. That algebra is a lot harder than I remember it being. :) Anyway he has straight A's this first semester and is smiling and laughing like never before. It thrills me everyday not to have to send him to school, the bullying was just so bad. Now I see him thriving and enjoying things and it just makes my heart happy. :)

That is great . That is how I felt with Tyler and then having to worry about his diabetes on top of the bullies was for sure not with it . I am glad he is happy !! It will make all the difference in the world when he gets older .
People dont realize what their being cruel does to people it can affect them for ever. Plus I think it is twice as bad now .

Bullies (and other mean people) suck! >:(
I remember in high school how cruel those bullies could be.
There were a couple on our varsity football team (on which I too was a member). I didn't take kindly to them and they knew it.
Sadly, the only way to avoid the bullying is to avoid the bullies.
I'm thrilled hearing about our children thriving in a non-bully environment.

No tears, lots of hugs. I found him chatting in the hallway near the stage and said "it's me Sherripie" and hugged him. :)
