I was doing so good and then at Christmas I got one of my favorite candies as a gift...peppermint bark. Oh my gosh  :o...I was going to have just one square, but before the night was over I ate the whole big bar! I tried not to punish myself too much being that it was Christmas but since then Ive been having more carbs than I should be. I feel terrible and these cravings are getting the best of me. Sugar is so evil!  >:( Please help! :(

Thanks Doug and Umpa. Appreciate the input. I have tried the nose pillow too. I think its very comfortable but I pulled that one off as well. Last one I got that I really like is the Oracle oral mask. For me its the most comfortable. I just need to find a way to keep it on.Lol  Will try to adjust ramp and get sone of the xylimelts. Would love to feel like I actually got a good nights sleep. Will keep u posted. Thanks again. :)

Thank you all for your kind and beautiful words. You are all so wonderful and I'm so glad I found this forum. Sometimes I think you just need a little help with putting things into perspective. Today I got on the scale and I'm down 6 lbs in 2 weeks. Again, I believe I could have done better, but I'm not going to let it bring me down. Just keep moving forward. :)

Hi Doug, I apologize for the delay. I was busy with family and haven't been on. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea almost 10 years ago, and have been through several sleep studies through the years, 4 different masks, and even switch to a bipap machine, but nothing seems to work. My problem is that I take the mask off in my sleep and find it next to me or on the floor when I wake up. The machine timer shows that I only kept it on for one hour. Unfortunately, I do have a issue with being claustrophobic. I think the forced air starts a panic attack and that's why I pull it off in my sleep. I've also tried taking a Xanax pill before bed, but nothing has changed so I just live with it. :(

Thank you Tony and Susie! Great advice!! The sleeping part is a little bit of an issue for me. I have sleep apnea and struggle with using my cpap machine so unfortunately I don't get good sleep. The rest I  will definitely work on. Heading out now but will be back on here later. Ttys :)

Good morning all! Well I made it through the first week and lost 3 lbs. Expected more, but something is better than nothing. I know my water intake was low, so I'll be drinking more and I definitely need to start a food log of what I'm eating. I can say though low carb eating has me feeling not so bloated which is a good thing and my sugar cravings have eased up quite a bit. Hoping for better results this week. Any feedback for a newbie like me would be much appreciated. Thanks and have a great day! :)

Hi Susie! Congratulations on your success!! I was just wondering, is there is a specific brand of coconut oil that you use or one you can recommend? I'm on a tight budget and I know it can be kinda of expensive so I want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks :)

Thanks so much umpa and very nice to meet you! I will definitely check out the board and keep in touch. One question I do have is where do I enter in my weight loss progress? I saw some people that had a chart but not sure how to add one. Let me know when you can. Thanks again!  :) Ttys

Hi Patrice! Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring me to write in here. I recently got Doug's revised book and  I'm so excited to start this journey. I've been battling with my weight for over 20yrs and I'm sick of being the girl who's the size of a linebacker or as some refer to as "big mama". In the past I've done the meal replacement shakes, master cleanse diet, diet pills, weight watchers, etc. and nothing has worked long term. Lose some but ALWAYS gain it back. :(  I've come to realize having the RIGHT support makes for better results and doesn't make it so easy to quit. So I'm here to cheer you on and hope you'll do the same for me.  :) Ttys
