Title: Emulsion vs Flavored Oils?
Post by: romarc on December 11, 2013, 11:56:23 AM
Happy December, everyone!!

The local Ross/TJ Max stores haven't had emulsion oils in for months - where do you buy yours?  The LorAnn website has tons of flavors, and they are the only one that I have found that has mango and pineapple (can't find on Amazon).  I see Netrition also carries LorAnn but not the flavors I'm looking for.

Also, do you prefer emulsion or flavored oils?

Thanks for your time...

I love emulsions because a little goes a long way! You just have to remember when you put them under heat they get stronger. I buy them at Ross,TjMaxx and Marshals.I have also seen them at Micheal's in North Carolina with the fancy cake making stuff.Red Velvet is still my favorite(grandsons favorite). I also like the frontier oils. The mango, peppermint and maple are very good. ;)

Emulsions are like extracts but they get stronger when you put heat to them.I buy them at Ross ,TJMAXX, or Marshals for $2.99 each.My favorites are red velvet, lemon, rum, ans coconut.   :)

For baking. They are alot stronger than extracts. They get stronger when they go in the oven so you get deeper flavors.I buy mine at Ross or TJMaxx  ;)
