Title: Taco Shell question
Post by: Shoelace on March 13, 2014, 03:39:00 PM
I know I can make my own taco shells, but are there any low carb ready-made crunchy taco shells?  Haven't had a taco in 3 years.

Thanks! I have been on and off dieting for 25 years and this really is first time in my life I lost weight without being hungry or feeling deprived, and I am enjoying shopping in the regular stores again!

I did try atkins years ago but didnt stick to it long enough , I gave up too soon that time, this time I told myself I would give it 3 months and evaluate how I felt, its been 8 months now and it does feel like something I can continue and stick too. I must admit I still have some fatigue and leg weakness when I climb stairs, I stay active but havent been on any formal exercise plan yet. I think when I do my energy levels will improve. My blood pressure is the best its been in years and eating this way I never feel bad after eating like I used too. I dont snore anymore either, I must say I feel like most of my family and friends are watching and waiting to see if I will fail again because they have watched me gain and lose for so long but I truly feel different this time, I am no longer a slave to food, I broke my addictions and I still enjoy eating but the food just isnt as important to me as it used to be. I can now focus on other things .

Hi, Jolynda! :)

Most of us here have been yo-yo dieting most all our lives.
We found the solution that works with FTS.
It works for the long haul because it's about replacing high-carb junk with low-carb replacements.

Sounds like you've got the right mindset to make it to your goal.
But I want to encourage you to exercise on a regular basis.
Our bodies were designed to move around.
When we don't, we lose muscle mass and strength.

Good exercise does not have to be hard.
Taking walks daily (or at least 3 to 5 times a week) can do a lot to help.
