Fall spice balls revalation

I was making the Fall Spice Ball recipe yesterday from The Fat to Skinny Bakery Book for Doug (he bugged me for 3 days :D ), and I was out of pecans.So I used chocolate almonds instead.The only adjustment I had to make was doubling the butter.When you grind almonds they are not as coarse they are more powdery . When I took them out and was rolling them in the xylitol/cinnamon mixture it occurred to me that I was limiting this great rub/coating to just this recipe!It could be used with anything warm from the oven!Doughnuts,cookies , and cakes! Just do it while still warm! :)
