Hi, I am Angela resides in Toronto. Everyone called me fatty as I was facing the problem of obesity during my childhood. When I get into my college, I started to give control over my diet. Every day morning I went to the gym and started working out. Initially, I reduced 5 kg later 10 and so on. Now the problem is she has a massive weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) after her diet. I texted to my friend and shared about this. She mentioned about a surgery after massive weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) which helps to regain her body shape. As per my friend's suggestion, I took a visit to the nearby clinic in Toronto which provides surgery after a massive weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) (http://www.cosmedical.ca/procedures/body/after-weight-loss-surgery/?a=3 (http://www.cosmedical.ca/procedures/body/after-weight-loss-surgery/?a=3) ).  Can anyone share the risks associated with it? Please share your wisdom regarding this. Thank you in advance.

Hi, Angela! :)

After massive weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) it's normal to have a lot of lose skin, especially around the abdomen.
Some people have this excess skin removed.

But as with any major surgery, there are serious risks from anesthesia and infection.
It's up to you to weigh those risks against the possible surgical outcome.
If the excess skin causes other issues such as chronic back pain, it may be a good idea.

Use your judgement to asses your particular situation.
But talk to your doctor BEFORE making the final decision.

Tony
