Getting started
« on: February 24, 2013, 09:38:38 PM »
Hi there all!!!
ACR here. I have read dougs book, more than once. I think its great, but I have never really applied it for more than a few days. I lost 60 lbs in 2010. I went through a major life altering change, stopped old habits and stopped watching TV for a year. THE GOOD NEWS IS I HAVE NOT GAINED BACK ANY OF THAT WEIGHT!!!
But I want to drop 40 more pounds!!! I am a Sugar addict!!! Its like Crack to me!!! I do believe its TOXIC...at least to me. It wakes me up if its in the house. It calls my name out at night!!!  I do not keep it in the house...but of course its all around us. I have got to focus on Low carb, No Sugar intake, i
I know what I have to do...but keep finding a reason to put it off. I turn 50 at the end of May-2013. I want to be well on my way to dropping the 40lbs.
 I have never  blogged...EVVERRR!!!
  THANKS.....ACR

Hi ACR, welcome to the party! The forum will be a great place to keep you heading in the right direction. Yes you're a sugarholic just like the rest of us  ::) That's what "replacement" recipes are all about. I never want you to go without, I want you to enjoy your sweet tooth BUT with FTS recipes. A couple of suggestions for you. It would help you if you start using the FTS Zero Sweetener, look to the right and you'll see the bottle, just click on it to learn more. While you're at my online store check out the FAT TO SKINNY Sugar Free Bakery book.

Armed with these 2 products you'll NEVER miss a sweet again  ;)

Be sure to visit and post often so we can continue to support you "habit"  ;D

Welcome ACR.  The fact that you successfully lost 60lbs and kept it off is awesome.  I know you can lose whatever amount you want with FTS.  The recipes on the forum are incredible -- almost as incredible as the people.  Best wishes.

You can do this, and we'll be right here to help you.
