Whoa nelly!  :o That's some serious cutlery right there.  The name "Alaskan" makes me think it's used somewhere in the depths of the great white north where life can be rough and sharp tools are good.

Ulu knives are cool tools! 8)

There is also a flat-bladed knife much like it that's great for chopping, mincing, crushing, etc..
If memory serves, I saw Doug use one in a video he made.
