Parmesan Chips great snack
« on: March 08, 2012, 08:48:55 AM »
I had some shredded Parmesan that I had purchased at Sam's.  It was a large container and I didn't want it to go to waste.  I experimented with the cheese chips idea and this is what I came up with.  Each chip is only a 1/8 cup melted for 45 seconds in my microwave.  I keep them in the fridge in an airtight container and they are great.  They are very crispy and have a great flavor.  I also experimented with adding a sprinkle of cayenne pepper, garlic powder or onion powder.  None seem to do too much for me LOL...think I like the plain the best.
Look out Hawaii, I'm on my way!!

Oh Umpa!... You're so missing out!

Cheese chips are ridiculously easy to make and are so good.
I love using shredded cheddar to make faux Cheez-Its that are FAR better than the originals!

What you do today is what matters!

I can never find sugar free ketchup, besides Walden Farms which is like tomato juice, any tips on finding it? TY

I find mine at my local Walmart, but believe other groceries carry it as well.  I called it sugar free but it is really just reduced sugar made by Heinz.   ;)
