I keep a SF Hershey's bar in the purse for times when I walk near a bakery or bake shop and times when I get a headache.  And sometimes my headache tells me I need a break - like a 20 min cat nap :)

I enjoy the crunch of coleslaw made with the walden farms come slaw dressing - crunch just works for me somehow :)

Keeping in touch and not being afraid to ask about anything I don't understand - which was a lot !  I'm still learning while the inches keep coming off.  I agree peanut butter, jello and reddi whip helped me not cave :)

SHERRIAUBREY. I am proof of the unconditional support - I had never even heard of some of the ingredients and I always got the reassurance to understand and keep going !  I still have lots to learn:). But everyday is an adventure :)

I haven't done any low carb baking and I'm confused about whether to buy blanched or unblanched or does it even matter?  Any suggestions on which one?  Anyone have a brand they prefer?  Where to buy it?  Thanks for helping a newbie!

It's not fun - it's amazing how many movements require rotation - even opening the dryer door makes me wince :(

Thank you - everything looks so good and I'm ready for variety with almost a month under my belt.  And an inch gone from the waist.  Question - I live in a smaller town - there is a Whole Foods within a reasonable distance.  Am I going to have a hard time finding the ingredients without paying outrageous shipping costs if I have to order online?  Have a great weekend and I so appreciate all the help and support!

Just looking for an idea of what type of items are in this book and also what type of carb count are each recipe (general idea)?  I guess I'm trying to figure out if the recipes in the book are ones you could incorporate into an everyday routine or if they are more for days when you have the extra carbs "to spare" and enjoy with a baked treat?

Last question - what types of ingredients are needed with this book?

Thanks for any and all help!

Amen :). I'm learning but still drives me crazy that I ha ave no weight loss to report.  I eat about 1200 - 1400 cals a day and usually under 15 carbs sometimes under 10.  Just doesn't make logical sense - glad you understand.  Unless you think that's too many calories. & I need to cut back?

So I've now had a couple days of just maintaining but happy to report just shy of an inch came off the mid section so I'm thrilled and enjoyed wearing a pair of jeans that  I hadn't fit into for a while.  The whole scale thing just makes my logical mind go bonkers. ;)
