One week done
« on: December 12, 2011, 12:06:25 AM »
I just completed my first week of following the Fat to Skinny program and I have lost 11 pounds. I am very pleased with such a wonderful loss and I am shocked that I could go without any breads and not feel deprived. It takes a little bit longer at first to figure out what to cook and to plan for what I am going to eat but its okay. I even when with my family to a fast food restaurant yesterday and no one even noticed when I took the bun covered with ketchup and pickles off my meat and ate just my burger and a salad. I hope things will continue to go as well during my next week. So far, so good  :)

Welcome to the family, magnolias! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Congratulations on such a wonderful start!!! ;D ;D ;D

Not feeling deprived is the key to long term success with the FTS lifestyle.
We substitute healthy, low carb foods for the high carb junk we've eaten most our lives.

And the toughest part is "reprogramming" ourselves to think in terms of carbs, and not calories.
But the longer you live this lifestyle, the more "second nature" it becomes.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your FTS journey!
