Title: Low Carb Wasabi Coleslaw

This is a wonderful side dish for many meals. BBQ compliments this recipe wonderfully!  


Low Carb Wasabi Cole Slaw!

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cups  shredded Green cabbage
1  cup  Purple cabbage
½ cup finely julienned Jicama
1 tablespoon Wasabi mustard (mixed from powder or in tube)
3 tablespoons Kraft Green Goddess Dressing
1 tablespoon Sour cream
1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
3 drops FAT TO SKINNY Zero Sweetener
1 tablespoon mixed black and white sesame seeds

Slice ½ green cabbage and ¼ red cabbage into thin slices. Rough chop and place in mixing bowl.  Peel and slice ½ medium jicama into thin slices, then julienne and rough chop, place in mixing bowl. Salt and pepper vegetables. In a separate bowl, mix one tablespoon wasabi mustard (mixed from powder or in tube), three tablespoons Kraft Green Goddess dressing, one tablespoon sour cream, one tablespoon mayonnaise, and sweetener. Add dressing to cabbage and jicama and mix well, sprinkle the sesame seeds on top let stand.
Let chill.

This is an excellent recipe.Everyone that comes to dinner at my house requests this recipe! ;)

I shredded Jicama and dumped creole seasoning and cayenne pepper on it. Was great!  ;D

Thank you  ;D question what does the wasabi do? only time I've had wasabi was with sushi... was a little spicy for me.

It makes it spicy.With wasabi a little goes a long way.Just leave it out if you don't like it.When mixed with the other ingredients it doesn't get to your nose when like when you eat it with sushi.Have you seen dougs sushi video? :)

No I haven't, will look it up. I've only had sushi a few times... not my fav but not opposed to it either  ;)

This a Tweedy family favorite. My family loves this recipe,even the kids.I get a little carried away with the wasabi sometimes though. ;)

Its just me and Doug too.Its hard to get use to making smaller recipes,our kids ate alot! Especially my daughter Haley Rae.Skinny as a rail though. :D
