That is SO cool!! We are heading to Destin, FL this Sunday for a week (if the hurricane stays away) and I am SO excited! Of course I still wear my THREE piece swim suit. ......my swimsuit, my shirt, & my shorts!! :D :D :D ha ha

Maddiesmom be brave wear your suit! And if you want to cover up in florida you can go to any beach store and get a silky lacey coverup!Sexy! 8)

Thanks Umpa! I need to get up some nerve! ha ha We're taking the boat this year, and planning to hang out at Crab Island some. I think that will be less embarassing than walking out on a crowded beach. ......for now, we're addicted to the weather channel watching the tropical update. Hope it isn't too bad in the Keys either.

That's great! From what I understand, swimsuits are usually smaller and you have to buy a size bigger. This means you are a size smaller than the new suit!!!!
Cant wait till I have this problem myself. Sadly, it was a "no swimsuit" summer for me. :(:(

I was wondering about you guys. I thought about saying" hey Doug & Umpa, be careful!" but I'm sure that as residents of the Keys, you probably already know that :D .
I lived and taught high school in the Orlando area for a short while and when we had a depression go through, they cancelled school. It turned out to be nothing but a cloudy day (although those seem to be unheard of in Florida :o ) and I thought it was kind of funny, coming from the land of snow squalls and measurements in snow FEET. Still, I know those storms are nothing to mess with, so I will say this: BE SAFE!!!!

Back from vacation! Due to the hurricane, we decided to spend the 1st half of the week on the east coast in New Smyrna Beach. On Thursday, we drove across Florida and met all my family in Destin. The first day was kind of overcast, but after that it was beautiful! Came home yesterday. I had the BEST time. It was the first vacation in years where I really enjoyed myself. I swam in the pool and jumped off the boat everyday at Crab Island. I still have weight to lose, but I am enjoying life SO much more now....thanks to FTS!!!!!

Hey SuzanneT, I actually DID just wear my swimsuit this year!! :o ...however, mine is one of those with the little skirt on it. ;D
Toosweet, I posted a bunch of pics on fb....but NOT in the swimsuit! ha ha
I emailed with Sherripie last week. Next time I'm that close to Orlando, we are going to plan ahead and get together! Our change in beaches was too last minute this year for things to work out to get together this time.
