Welcome Alex!  Yes this is a great support group.  Thursday will be 1 month that I have been on and am down 14 pounds and feel great.  Make sure you check out all of the great recipes everyone has posted.  It helps to have FTS friendly treats!

Hey Alex, I haven't officially bid you welcome yet.  So glad you found FTS and this incredible support group.
I am here for myself, but mostly for my husband to help him overcome the ravages of type 2 diabetes.  The improvement in him since the end of May has been miraculous and made me one very happy wife as I feel I am watching him get snatched out of the jaws of death with this way of eating.  It may sound dramatic but I am serious.  Looking forward to FTS-ing with you! :)
