Eating breakfast

I have a question about breakfast. I always try to eat breakfast because it is the most important meal right? I am finding that some days after drinking coffee I am not really hungry.  Should I eat anyway to avoid a spike in blood sugar? Or should I wait until I am really hungry? Help..I am confused! Thanks ::)J

I only eat if i am hungry.If I skip breakfast and i am running out the door i put some nuts or a protien bar in my bag to tie me over till I can get my next meal.  ;)

Ok so only eat when I am hungry. What protein bars are good quality? :o

I used to skip breakfast, but I try not to now. If I do, there's a good chance I'll overeat or eat something I shouldn't. I simply adjust my meals to my hunger level. Yesterday I wasn't too hungry so I just had a 1/2 cup Smaps cereal and some almond milk. Other days I want a bigger breakfast.

It's whatever works for you. I know the big thing here is to eat only when you're hungry, which is why it's important to keep something with you when those times come up. Good luck.

Rena's is correct.
The biggest danger of skipping meals is overeating later on.
And always remember... NEVER eat when you are not hungry!!!

Eating when you are hungry is important ANYTIME of day! Not just at breakfast.

By the way, if you don't eat when you are hungry, two things are likely to happen.
One, your blood sugar will plummet (hypoglycemia) causing problems like dizziness, headaches, fatigue, etc..
And two, your body may switch into "survival mode" and your weight loss may not only stop, but you might also gain a few pounds by overeating when you do eat again.
What you do today is what matters!
