WOW ;D ;D ;D You are amazing and such an incredible motivator.  Not much else to say that hasn't already been said here...............

Thank you Doug, Umpa, Paula and everyone for the kind words. We are coming up on a hard time of year. I LOVE pumpkin pie, it's already killing me not to have it or Divinity at Christmas. What is Christmas without it! So we shall see how it goes.

@ skychant you are my hero. I am going to try it too. I love my diet soda but every time I drink it I wonder if it's screwing up my eating plan. So tomorrow it's gone. I am going to give it up with you. As for loosing weight, when I started it just fell off. I was loosing 5-8 pounds a week...then it slowed. Last two months I I have been only loosing 2-3 a week and it is driving me crazy. Short of never eating again I'm not sure what I can do to loose it faster. I did buy a stationary bike this week and started working out so we shall see. Though my Dr says 2 pounds a week is the most you should loose to keep it off long term, but I would still like to be loosing 5 a week.

Ditto what everyone said Sherripie! Wow! You look amazing.
Your weight loss is still great at 2-3 lbs/wk. Remember our livers have to process what we lose so they are working really hard too. You are definitely my inspiration and hero as well!

2 to 3 pounds a week is something to be happy about.  Especially when I was drinking 4 diet sodas a day plus eating sugarfree candy almost every day. I did avoid caffiene and drank plenty of water.  I am going to try to cut out sweeteners and up my water intake and exercise every day .  I really do enjoy this way of eating and am so greatful for Dougs book and the forums.  I know I can lose all of this weight.

Sherripie lets see how much more we can lose before New Years.  I just think next year at this time I will be at a healthy weight and on my birthday I will have a slice of sweet potato pie.  This birthday I am making the Almond Brownies.  I am determined to stick to this way of eating through Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I have spent years of letting myself eat to much during the holidays and gaining 10 pounds.  That has come to an end with my new lifestyle.  I weigh in at TOPS every Monday evening and that helps me alot.  Maybe there is a TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) near where you live.  The support helps me stick to my goals.  We can do this!

Skychant you should not be going without anything. This is a lifestyle change. If you want sweet potatoe pie we can do that.Just ask umpa. But you are setting yourself up to fail by not replacing your foods.Once you go back to eating *forbidden foods* you are gonna gain the weight back.Replace not remove, and you will lose the weight and keep it off like Katary and Sherriepie ;)

I was just changing up my ticker style and checked the date. One year ago today I weighed 122 pounds more than I do right now! 122 pounds. I can't even imagine being that size anymore and I am SO thankful to Doug and Umpa for helping me through all of this with FTS. My life has changed drastically and I am just SO thankful.
