Super Easy Goat Cheese Fondue
« on: May 20, 2010, 10:22:11 AM »
(serves 2-3)
6 oz. Crumbled Goat Cheese
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp Dry White Wine (if you don't cook with alcohol, try substituting with about a 1/2-1 tsp of white wine or cider vinegar)
Raw broccoli, sliced zucchini & squash, celery sticks, any low carb raw veggies that would work well for dipping.

This would work best in a fondue pot, but if you're like me and don't like owning something you use only once a year you can use a pot.

On low heat put all ingredients in a small pot. Stir until melted. Keep on very low heat to keep cheese melted (either on the stove or by candle or fondue pot). Dip with veggies and enjoy!

I don't know if any other cheeses will work for this exact recipe. Maybe feta or something similar. There are a ton of different fondues you can make but none that are this simple.

Fondue's are great fun, sitting around the pot and dipping with friends is always cool. I like to use raw veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini and yellow squash to dip  8)
