Tuna Casserole Sauce
« on: May 08, 2012, 09:01:12 PM »
I was making a tuna casserole using brocolli, cauliflower, green beans and wax beans.  Because of the carbs I was trying to figure out a "quick sauce".  I love Doug's Alfredo but was in a hurry and had some stuff to use up.  I used approximately 3/4 cup mayo, 1/4 cup zero carb chicken broth and 4 Tbl Ken's Creamy Ceaser Salad Dressing  (1 carb for 2 Tbl).  I mixed these ingredients together until they were creamy and poured it over the meat and veggies.  It wasn't bad and was great for a quick creamy sauce.  Sprinkled with salt and pepper and a little paprika.
Look out Hawaii, I'm on my way!!

You are always so creative in the kitchen.  I need to find that spark.  Thanks for the new combo sauce.

Oh, and nice to hear from you!

Andrea I have always experimented in the kitchen with "pot luck" dishes but now with FTS I just use different ingredients LOL.  Thanks!! TooSweet your post brought me good luck...this AM I hit my halfway mark.  Yippee.

How cool is this!  I linked an old post of mine about my weight control journey and how it took me 3 years to get to the exact weight I am now.  I have only been on FTS lifestyle since July 2011 so in less than a year I have returned to a weight that took 3 years before.

Thanks everyone!  We've been busy getting ready to head out on a trip next Monday so the scales have gathered a little dust LOL.  When I decided to check my weight this AM I had to step off and get my glasses to make sure I was seeing the right number.

Will, Will, Will,
You don't need glasses to confirm a bad number.  You just let your imagination take over there.  You need glasses to make sure you really see the low numbers.

I must be a girl thing.
