Title: Starting over...
Post by: Lovie912 on July 09, 2014, 08:40:12 PM
Is it possible that my body could be immune to this woe..? I asked that b/c I tried to do this last week and it seem like the numbers on the scale were ascending, and TOM didnt make the situation any better.

So I was discouraged and stopped, but I know this works. Deep sigh... :-\

Hello Lovie912, Its important for you to realize that this is not a diet, its a lifestyle change that works for everyone....why? because all of our bodies work the same way. Don't think of this new eating plan as temporary. You are re-educating yourself to everything that passes your lips and why. Can you fail? Sure, if you cheat yourself and eat carbs you know you shouldn't be eating, in the end its all up to you.

Welcome to the family!

Welcome to the FTS family, Lovie912!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

If you haven't read Doug's book, please do so as soon as you can.
It will give you solid direction on getting started in your FTS lifestyle.

In my 62 years, I've tried virtually everything (short of surgery) to lose weight (http://www.fattoskinny.com/).
And every time, I would lose some, but then put it ALL back on PLUS more! :o

The FTS lifestyle REALLY works! The science behind it is rock solid.
I've been eating this way since August 2010, and LOVE it.
There are so many delicious low carb alternatives to high carb junk, it's amazing.
And it will work for you too! :)

In order for us to help you better right now, please record EVERYTHING you eat and drink at our "Meal Plans" thread;
http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?board=32.0 (http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?board=32.0)

We can look at it and give you advice on what may need to change.

All the best!
Tony
