Hey Coach B,
Exactly what did you eat during this week?

Right!  It is very weird. I guess the detox affects folks differently.

No Umpa, I don't think so.  Why do you ask?

I didn't need any medicine because it didn't last longer than a couple of days.  Another thing to consider is that if you have any sinus ailments, dairy products will wreak havoc on you, so a bit of it may be from eating more cheese than usual.

I also felt like I was coming down with something like a cold, sniffles, but it will pass also.  Hang in there, it will be worth it all.

Maybe I missed it, but how many carbs should be counted for the OMM?  I cannot wait to make these.  Trying soooooo hard to do this correctly.

Rena,
Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain.  God is in control of ALL things, not some things, but All things.  Praying for you.

This is fantastic news Doug.  You deserve it, and the world needs to know that sugar is so bad for us.  Thanks for spreading the news!

I cook every type of meat in one of those blue or black speckled pans - kind of a roasting pan. You cannot ruin a cut of meat in one of those things.

Thank you, thank you, for clarifying this.  I was always confused as to whether to count the sugars listed or not.  This is so simple now.  You guys really are the best at making this lifestyle easy to understand.  Haven't been on a scale in almost two weeks, but I feel fabulous! :D

I use this website but only to track daily calories, carbs and sugar.  I changed the values to reflect 20 grams of carbs and a much lower calorie value for the day.  I like it because it has most, but not all, foods that I eat.  You are correct that if you use their recommended guidelines we would never lose the weight. :D

So, I am in the Dollar Tree looking for a couple of items, and somehow ended up in the cookie aisle.  Not good, or so I thought.  I looked at those cookies and did not even have an inkling of desire for them!!!  Left that poison right there.  I am so proud of myself.   ;D

You always have such a wise and simplistic way of explaining things.  I, too, use Ketostix and I find myself being discouraged if it doesn't turn purple even when I know I am eating right.  I need to relax too and JUST DO IT!

And to all, I feel so much better and don't have that tired feeling.  Just work the program, and the program will work for you.  BTW, heavy cream in my coffee vs the powdered or liquid stuff is awesome.

What an awesome idea.  I know we can ask that sandwiches be made with lettuce wrap, not all of the restaurants accommodate.  Thanks!  You guys are the best.
