Any "old" recipe that I have that calls for Cream of Mushroom Soup, I substitute Classico Mushroom Alfredo Sauce, 1 net carb per 1/4 cup.  It works great.

I agree Umpa! :) :) :)

I imagine Doug's Alfredo sauce recipe heated with fresh diced mushrooms would do pretty well too!

Yeppers.I would cook the mushrooms first in a frying pan or microwave like you do before you put them on pizza. They release alot of liquid. ;)

Good idea, SMom, but there again, I don't know about the condensed-ness. "Condensed" spelled with one 'c' and one 's'.  :D I'll try the alfredo sauce and some mushrooms today and if it doesn't work, I'll pass it on to Ask Umpa. Just for fun. :D :D

Hi Marty! :)

If you want more "condensed-ness" using Doug's Alfredo sauce recipe, just add more grated Parmesan cheese.
Doing that, you can make the sauce as thick as you like.

I've never found a sauce that was too cheesy! ;D
What you do today is what matters!

Mmm.. yep you're right. They're really good. I made them with Doug's dill mayo. It sorta reminds me of tarter sauce only better. Next time I'll do them with salmon.
