Title: HASH BROWNS
Post by: morgan on March 28, 2016, 11:46:50 PM
I was touring the breakfast section and got hash browns on my mind.  (I'd also just watched how to rice cauli in a blender).

Thinking of a way to make hash browns out of cauli rice - any suggestions??

Hi, Morgan! :)

I've always LOVED hash browns too! :) :) :)
I also discovered that turnips make a wonderful substitute for potatoes in many recipes.

There are many recipes online for turnip hash browns.
Here's one that is absolutely fantastic for breakfast!

Thinking more along lines of cauliflower.  Awhile back I made like cauli patties and fritters, now see if can work out
cauli hash? hash cauli? hash whites?  :D

Hi, Morgan! :)

I haven't had much luck getting cauliflower to brown right without damaging the flavor.
But if you find a way to do it, please share your find.
