Hi Gang! :)

Here's more evidence that high carb consumption causes problems that have been blamed on cholesterol.

http://www.cbn.com/community/recipes/E316_CholesterolFriendOrFoe.aspx?logintype=Factsheet-news

Arterial inflammation from elevated blood sugar is the real foe!

Some time ago, I voluntarily stopped taking Crestor for high cholesterol.
Since then, my blood work has shown very good numbers including normal cholesterol.

Seeing that, my doc told me to forget about Crestor! ;D ;D ;D
I can thank FTS for this blessing!

It was MY choice to stop taking a prescribed medication.
Before you consider it, talk to your doctor first!!!

Thanks Tony.  It is great that your cholesterol is under control without medication.  I hope to some day be off my blood pressure meds once I lose the weight with FTS.

The evidence keeps mounting in support of low carb diets.  However, the establishment, be it doctors, pharmaceutical companies, diet guru's, etc. still insist that it is a "fad diet" that is bound to fail.  I guess if programs like FTS teach people how to make lifelong changes the pharmaceutical companies sell less poison, the diet guru's sell less books and videos...

Hi Mark! :)

I think the reason that many "professionals" consider low carb lifestyles as "fads" is because there have been sooooo many "weight loss fads" over the years.
As the evidence continues to mount, so too shall opinions change.

Not only is my cholesterol is under control, so is my blood pressure and my blood sugar.
I no longer take meds for those either! ;D ;D ;D

Stay the course with FTS, and your blood work numbers will show remarkable improvement as well!

Thanks Umpa! :)

God intended that we ALL be in full control of our health!
For without our health, no matter what else we may have, we're broke!

Hi Morgan! :)

Although those costs are important, their importance is tiny compared to poor health.

Consider type II diabetes.
That disease can cause terrible things like blindness, organ failures, and even death with intense suffering along the way.

Thank God for FTS! :) :) :) :) :)
I know it spared me suffering that would have caught up sooner or later.
