General Discussion / It's been a while!
« on: May 16, 2017, 01:39:24 PM »
Hey y all! It's been a while. Since we've gotten this new house and have FINALLY settled down...weve both lost about 10 lbs each! That and 4 puppies later! No time to be a couch potato around here! Lol...My days generally start around 5am! And are non stop, between cleaning house and taking the puppies outside a thousand times a day! I've also gotten back on the excersize bike at least twice a week for an hour.
Feels great having our own space again, to do whatever we want!
Hope y'all are doing great!!

General Discussion / Just an update
« on: January 08, 2017, 10:41:25 AM »
Hey guys! Happy New Year! Just to fill ya in, I've actually lost 5lbs! Woohoo! Better than gaining! I have been adding just an hour a day on the excersize bike. Seems to be helping!
It's much easier to keep track of carbs, when they aren't being shoved at you all the time!
But man, the withdraw symptoms ain't no joke! Lol...

General Discussion / Never Realized...
« on: August 20, 2016, 11:53:38 AM »
You know, coming from a house where carbs were constantly pushed at you, to none, well...like cakes, pies, banana pudding (but the wafers are sugar free! Was always her statement!)etc...I just never realized how much or how often we were eating. Seemed like all the time. But I am so much happier being able to control our own food. I am pleased to say that no sweets have entered our house! I think we've all had enough in four years time to last a lifetime! And we're all doing really good!
I've been doing a bit of yard work, and it feels amazing to have your own house and your own yard!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!

General Discussion / Hi Guys! Guess Who's Back...AGAIN?!
« on: July 27, 2016, 09:56:21 PM »
You got it! Hey Doug Hey Umpa😂! And Hey everybody else! This has been a long time coming, but I'm back! I'll try to keep it short, but I tend to be a bit chatty, sometimes.
First and foremost...WE GOT OUR OWN FREAKING HOUSE! Away from, you know who!! And it has been GLORIOUS! Not lying one tennie. Bit! Completely on the OTHER SIDE OF TOWN! Lol...we've been here about 4 maybe months, and love it! We are still sorting the house, etc...but man, it's like night and day!
On that note, I'm back on the bandwagon, like for real this time. I've lost weight before, I know this works! So, I'm going for broke, getting all my ducks in a row!

Happy Friday guys! Just to let you know! Haha....I've still got a long ways to go, but darnit, at least my belly is somewhat below my chest now! And not being used as a halter top anymore! It's defiantly an eye opener when you can physically start seeing the results of a lot of hard work!:)

Ever since I started "for real" this time, I have gone from 213 to 205! To tell you the truth, I'm not that far from onederland! It seemed like once I hit 213, I have never been that big my entire life! I had to do something! And yes I fought it with every bit of energy I had! But now that I have been through detox, ugghhh...never wanna do that again! But once you comit yourself, it seems so easy!

General Discussion / Doug, you were right my friend!
« on: May 16, 2015, 08:59:54 AM »
One day, I'll listen. This past week, I have lost two more pounds! And my stomach is shrinking! Omg...I literally had 6 non breaded wings, & I swear it felt like I ate the entire bird! "Six wings!" I have also added lots more water to the ratio, I will have 2 glasses of unsweet tea. One in the afternoon & one at dinner. And I have noticed my facees skin texture has changed! From dry & flakey to actually smooth and touchable.  It's amazing how much will change once you start "acting right!" Happy camper!
Thanks Doug!

General Discussion / What I Have Lost VS. What I Have Gained...
« on: May 07, 2015, 11:13:25 AM »
Hey guys! Happy Thursday! "Are you ready to rumbleeee?!" Sorry,  just bracing myself! Cause I know the 19yr. Old will be watching wwf later on tonight! 😭😭😭
You know, my husband started way before I did! (Guess tht means I'm a lil more stubborn?!:)but this is midweek for my second week, and I'm "stable!" Haven't lost or gained, but like Tony said, it's not a race, (but I gotta catch up to the 'ole man!)it's just living right. I figured since I was going through the hell of detox...why not rid myself of the 'ole nicotine habbit as well? I know, I'm glutton for punishment I guess! Friday will be one week of not using anything! I've felt nauseated, and down right miserable & would stab someone for some nicotine! Haha...
But on the plus side, I've got twice the energy(thanks Umpa!)I can't explain it, but I just plain feel better. Andddd June 1st, we will take flight outta "her" house!!

Husband said he's lost about 35-40 pounds! I've only lost about 5. But I'm not complaining. He started before I did!:) I am just so glad detox is Finally over! It has been a rough week! I even drink "unsweetned" tea now! Can't even tell the difference now! It's weird how much better you feel after detox! I have so much energy now, I got all the clothes washed! I am glad I stuck it out this time & I promise I will not go back! (For fear of detox!:)

General Discussion / Time For A New Beginning Y'all
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:20:47 PM »
Hey y'all. I'm sorry for the absence! I'm not going to lie, it's been a struggle! But, I am on day TWO of starting over, yet again. And to be perfectly honest. Now I know exactally how a junkie feels! Omg...I have to do something though. Not working anymore and not sticking to the plan has left me feeling sluggish and of course gained more weight. I am ashamed of not only in how I look, but in the fact that I know what to do!
But it's a new day! All isn't lost. I just have to put on my big girl pants(haha)& do it!
Day two and I already have the shakes!

General Discussion / Update! kinda long
« on: December 21, 2014, 02:50:02 PM »
Hey guys! What's up? First I wanna apologize for the last episodes. I was in a really bad place. I kinda still am, but, I'm slowly adjusting, though not liking it one bit! To fill you in...Remember how I was telling yall I was passing out etc...? Well, come to find out, the "psudo tumor ceribri"(I know I killed the spelling!)has gone into my left eye as well! It obviously is an internal thing because only I can see the cloudyness around the blue part of my eyes and I only have about a quarter left of my pupil that isnt cloudy. The neurologists and eye dr.s are saying that I am going to go blind. They just dont know how blind or when. I have had head aches like you wouldnt believe. And obviously have had to quit working, after 14yrs!
I will totally admit, I was on a roller coaster spiral (still am kinda)but, I figured since I have "all this free time" I can now add excersize to the program! And...I have gone down two shirt sizes. Although the scale hasnt moved much? The clothes are way looser! And I'm way happier!
Sorry for being so lengthy. Ive just had alot on my mind lately.
