Everest's First Birthday Cake!

I'm going to make Everest his first birthday cake on his birthday because I don't want to kill him with copious amounts of sugar, haha. But I still want him (as well as the rest of us) to enjoy it. Do you have any ideas on what to make? I bought almond flour/meal the other day, would that be good for a cake? Do you have any recipes Grammy??

well we wont be at your house on his exact birthday. So I was gonna make him something small on June 6th when James is here. Any suggestions? We will definitely have another bday for him once we get to NC =]

I already have it posted in recipe exchange rofl. take my choco raspberry cake and use beanit butter to make the icing instead of raspberry jelly!

This my  only grandchilds first birthday ! It has to be spectacular like tiramasu or german chocolate!Decandent and of course three layers!!What about the italian cakes Jess???? Give me some idea what you want and I will start working on it right away!I am making coconut ice cream today if my phone will stop ringing long enough to get to the store!haha

I'm sure Everest will love anything you make. He's never had peanut butter, so I don't know if he'll like that. He loved your coconut cake from the Keys visit, though.

I was planning on making him something very small and simple on the 6th just so he can eat some cake and open a present on his actual bday =]. Know any recipes that are easy and yummy?
