Beebs i wrote the book with you in mind.I wanted the instructions easy enough for you (or children)I will help you with any recipe in the book. 50/50 jellies are at walmart with the diabetic products in the pharmacy. Most grocery stores carry them too.You can use any sugarfree jam though. ;)

Beebs,if you decide to use a sugar free jam instead of zero carb Fifty50 fruit spreads make certain to count the carbs. Most all sugar free jams have carbs from the fructose. BE CAREFUL with your choices, my suggestion is to find the Fifty50

Beebs- I have found fifty/50 products at FRESHCO. I have learned that you never give up looking for the items you want. All of a sudden what you are looking for will jump off the shelf. Make sure that you write down where you found each item. I use the inside of my book for footnotes. FYI the Fifty/50 jam is good.

Once on your Nook you can go to the recipe index and get the page number  of the recipe and enter it in and go straight to that recipe. ;)

Hi Marty! :)

So you like the Oregon coast too?... That's cool! 8)

My wife and I drove down to Seaside and Cannon Beach for our first date.
She's originally from the Portland area. Her parents still live in Beaverton (suburb of Portland).

Some of the best charter boat fishing for salmon goes out of Newport.
And we've done the casino at Lincoln City MANY times!... Saw Rickky Skaggs perform there.

We LOVE the Oregon coast!
We also enjoy the Washington coast. But the Oregon coast has a special place in your hearts.

Hubs/Santa got me the Kindle fire for Christmas this year  ;D  It is a big step up from my Sony e-reader that I carried everywhere...LOL  I love it....especially now that I figured out how to put the cook books on it from this post.   :D   Woo Hoo!!  Thanks everyone.

Suz showed me a free app to add to keep all my other recipes on so I have everything at my finger tips in the kitchen or in the store shopping.  The only thing I hate though is I can't seem to transfer my copy of the original FTS book from the reader....grrrrrr   Where there is a will though....there is usually a way LOL  ;) ;)  I'm not that computer savvy

Next shopping trip will be to get a screen protector for sure... finger prints drive me nuts unless they belong to a little one  :-\

... My poor old Kindle is on the shelf. But then I haven't had much reading time lately. :) Now that the FTS books are on the nook, it's even more indispensible!

Hi Marty! :)

This just goes to show how fast these high tech gizmos become obsolete.

Last Christmas (2010), the Kindle was all the rage... Now, it's old news and a lot cheaper.
I bought my wife one last Christmas, it has been sitting on a shelf for the past few months.

The moral... If you see some new high tech gadget you'd like to have, wait 6 months, then get it.
Usually by then, it's MUCH cheaper and/or a better alternative comes on the scene.

A piece of advice from an old, retired, computer professional... NEVER be one of the first to buy new technology!
You'll always end up paying more $$$ than you should.

Yeah, Tony -- when we bought our very first computer many, many, many years ago, the clerk said, "No matter what you buy, you'll always be six months behind the industry." It just moves too fast.

We're big book lovers in our house. Even my youngest will pick up a book, open it, stick his nose in and say, "Mmmm! I love how books smell!"

I have the e-book of the origanal but I bought it through the Sony library so it is a epub document and not compatible for Kindle to read.   I think I have it figured out though and downloaded a app that will convert it.  I just need to purchase a cord to hook my Kindle to my computer now...LOL  Like I said where there is a will there is a way  ;)  Going shopping today

All my cookbooks transferred with no issues though....Love it  ;D

Title: Re: LOVE the FTS Bakery Book!

I agree, Tony! Normally I wait for the second or third generation so all the bugs are worked out. ...

A good policy to live by, Marty! :) :) :)

Think of those "brand new on scene" gizmos as computer programs in their 1.0 release levels.
Beta testing for final bugs are left to the consumer -- PLUS -- they pay more for them!!!
