This sounds simple & tasty, but I know tomato soup has sugar added. Do you have a recipe to replace tomato soup? I'm sure that is the source for flavoring up this recipe.

Cedric Casserole

1 onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cups coarsely shredded cabbage (or more)
1 can tomato soup

Brown ground beef in skillet with onion.  Add salt and pepper.  Place cabbage in a lightly greased casserole dish.

Spread meat mixture over cabbage.  Pour tomato soup (not diluted) over meat and spread to edges of the casserole

dish.  Cover and bake at 300 for 1 hour.

I would just substitute pasta sauce .Thicken it up a little with zantham or gluccomon. but just the sauce would be good too if you don't have a thickener.Sounds tasty ;)

I make my own pasta sauce with fresh tomatoes. I do have xanthan & guar gums.
