I made my chili in the crock pot so the black soy beans had lots of time to soften and pick up the flavour of the spices.

I don't own a crockpot.I know there are alot of people that use them though.Crockpot recipes would be another good recipe board to have. ;)

We just purchased one for a great price at Walmart and hubby is enjoying making his chili and we thought about cooking a corned beef and other things we can let simmer.  I wish I could find those black soy beans locally...will check the health food stores.  I love me some chili especially in the winter months.  Need to come up with some good low carb soup recipes as well! :)

Eden Soy products are carried by all the health food /Whole foods stores I have been to Izzet.Maybe yours can order them?? :)
