Title: What am i doing wrong
Post by: Sandipp on August 24, 2012, 02:14:53 PM
I am diabetic, i have started this diet abt 3 weeks back. I have lost about 4 kgs in this time, i think it is too slow.

I usually take sausages + 2 eggs + tea with sweetner stivia for Break fast.

I dont take lunch, if i am hungry i take a diet coke or sugar free Red Bull.

For dinner i have soya bread and veggies.

I drink lots and lots of water but cold water.

I feel my weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) is too slow, how can i make it faster?

Sandipp, it is often difficult for a diabetic to lose weight (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) at a fast pace, especially if your blood sugar is out of control. I know for myself, if my sugars are high at the start of a diet, I lose a few pounds in water the first several days. Then it takes several weeks to begin losing more as my blood sugar stabilizes. Keep at it. It will happen for you. :)

Hi Sandipp! :)

I am a former type II diabetic that has been cured by living this lifestyle.
I also had very high blood pressure and my blood cholesterol was all out of whack.

But after about 6 months living the FTS lifestyle, my diabetes disappeared, my blood pressure normalized,
and my cholesterol became normal.
My doctor even took me off medications that I'd been taking for many years. ;D ;D ;D

I'm a very slow loser. But a much healthier one for living this lifestyle.

So be patient with your progress.
Just know that by following the FTS rules, you're health is improving with each passing day! :)

Umpa,
I know Sandipp from Delhi and gifted him the book and made him join this forum. I have gifted to two more people but they are still to join. They will soon.
Problem is that many food items like gg bran bread, la factory tortillas are not available. Maybe once i make enough people join you can export to India ;).
PS: Sundipp can be a little pain in the ars at most times.

Sandipp, relax my friend you've lost almost 9 pounds! Cheers to you. Stay the course, this isn't a race and this isn't a diet...it's a lifestyle change that works! Watch portions by following my 15 minute rule and remember.... Meats and greens will make you lean....lose the soya bread and lose the red bull  ;)
