Jbb sweets are ok if they are the right sweets.Almost all of my sweetsin the fat to skinny  bakery are  heart healthy because of the flours used. I keep most sweets  in the freezer so I dont over indulge.

I freaked out when my doctor said I have high cholesterol. My first thought was "I'm 16 for crying out loud! I'm too young to be old!" In retrospect, I'm not sure if I should bother focusing on this issue (if it even is a issue) before I'm down to a healthier weight. Overall I'm just confused about what to do since I don't have much control over the food in my house; it's not my money that buys the groceries  :/

Have you read the Fat To Skinny book catmedaglia?  That will help you to identify where the sugar is on the table.  My hubs doesn't eat low carb...so I simply prepare meals and only eat the low carb parts.    ;)   If we can help any just ask  :)

Hi, catmedaglia! :)

My cholesterol was really messed up too before I started FTS.

Read about how it changed after I adopted the FTS lifestyle;
