partially hydrogenated soybean oil

about two years ago a lady told me NOT to eat anything thats "HYDROGENATED" because it clogs ur arteries and this ingredient causes heart attacks and i see some of the low carb products including peanut butter are hydrogenated & it definitely concerns me now....of course before i started FTS i didnt care but now i do!!! any help am this matter or suggestions?????

Hmmm.  Doug I don't know what your stance is on this one either....  I have avoided hydrogenated anything for about 6 months now for the same reasons.  Jim, look at natural nut butters, they don't have hydrogenated anything and I know the almond is low in the carbs. ;)

We use olive oil or butter for most all cooking. The Carb Not Beanit Butter has no hydrogenated oil, nor does the Smuckers natural PB. It's easy to avoid so why not avoid?  ;)

hi doug,
can i buy smuckers natural peanut butter at publix, walmart or winn dixie???? also do u recommend any good spreads to put on GG bread??? doug, for lunch i had GG bread today w/ tuna fish w/ mayo & onions, it was so good!!!!

Smuckers natural is at grocery stores and at walmart.I like peanut butter and thinly sliced strawberries on my brancrisp.Or cream cheese ,capers ,red onion  and fish.YUMMY! :)
