Title: Lavish Bread Chips
Post by: suzlyn454 on August 15, 2011, 07:55:20 AM
I took an 8 carb Lavish Bread.  Cut it in half 2 times so I had a 2 carb piece.  Then cut the 2 carb piece into 12 small squares.  I sprayed both sides of the 12 pieces with cooking spray.  Placed all 12 pieces in my toaster oven at 300 degrees for 8-10 minutes on bake.  These can be used in any way that crackers or chips would be used.  Meat and cheese crackers, salsa chips, tuna salad, chicken salad, etc.  Here I served with a 1/2 serving of egg salad (two boiled eggs, 1 T mayo, squirt mustard and 1 SF gerkin chopped 1.5 carbs).  The 6 pieces I used would be 1 net carb.

Sorry the pics are blurry but I am playing with camera.  All my other pics were too large to attach...any suggestions on settings LOL :'(

Thanks Jo!! Will try that for pics.  Hadn't thought about using pitas LOL.  Will add that to the "to do" list too.

I just spray with oil or brush with oil salt them a little sometimes I cut into 8 triangles and sometimes I leave them whole and just bite them .
