Welcome to the big 5-0 club!! I turned 50 back in April, and it didn't hurt a bit. ;) I feel WAY better than I did back in my 40's before I discovered FTS.

Since yesterday I have not been in ketois. I going have to go over what I have been eating.
... I haven't been hungry and I didn't realize how many sweets are brought into my office. The past 2 weeks sweets every day. I have to say didn't touch anything. I would imagine teaspoon of sugar per piece. It was really gross.Hi, Faith! :)

people still want to give you cake and cookies so on and don't have any problems pushing it on you. Any other addiction that would not happen
... Instead of mindless eating, it is mindless drinking :D :D
Losing the weight would help or cure all of these conditionsYou are so right but even in the beginning of living this lifestyle way before you lose to your goal weight you will see much improvements in many if not all of those symptoms. Many of us here have had the same issues that you talk about. I myself have had a few of them and no longer have to take the meds that my doc had me on. Most of those changes happened within the first couple of weeks. :) My first bit of advice is to keep in mind that this is a lifestyle change and not a diet. So there is really nothing to break. Sometimes we slip but we have the knowledge and the tools to get right back on track. You can do this....we are all here to help. Please log in often and join in on the conversations. It certainly is a great tool to keep you accountable and gather encouragement and some great friends along the way. If we can help in any way please ask ;)
