Hi Big Joe, welcome back. There's a meal plan board on the home page which you can review. Meal plans for Umpa and I are simple.... We wake up each day and ask each other....What do you feel like eating today?  My freezer contains beef, fish, poultry, pork, ribs, rabbits, lamb as well as pre-prepared frozen meals. Something comes out of the freezer daily for dinners.

Breakfasts are usually eggs and some kind of meats. I have a neighbor who raises chickens so I get fresh eggs consistently.

Lunches depend on what time we eat breakfast, some times breakfasts are brunches so lunches aren't eaten, instead we'll do some kind of snack around 3pm. When lunches are eaten they usually consist of light wraps using Romaine lettuce. Deli meats and cheeses, tuna fish, chicken salad etc.... One of my new fav's are the cucumber sandwiches...they are delish! Had one a couple days ago stuffed with Tuna salad. You can check them out here- http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=5435.0

Joe the key to your success is to take away all the foods that you know you can't eat and replace everything with FTS friendly foods. I don't know what your work environment is like but you can always have a cooler in your car.

Welcome home, Joe!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

In any successful endeavour, planning is 90%, execution is 10%.

Between now and Monday,
get rid of ANY items in your home that will sabotage you,
work up solid meal plans (don't forget snacks),
go to the store and buy foods for those meal plans.

On Monday, begin execution of your meal plans!

You CAN do this!!!
And we'll be right here to help you all the way! ;D ;D ;D

Hi, Joe! :)

Away from home, we are VERY vulnerable to sliding into "carb city".
Now that you've been thru that, use that experience to help yourself.

The next time you must go out of town, prepare yourself!
Remember, success is 90% preparation, and 10% execution.
So, when possible, don't let yourself be "unprepared".

Hi, Joe! :)

Today IS a good day! :) :) :)

A wonderful thing about each morning is that we are given another chance to improve upon what we did the day before.
Each morning, I purpose to improve myself.
