We got a little extra money from family member to buy some clothes.
Saturday went to yard sales and I got two pairs size 8 pants. They fit pretty good, just a little loose. Also got a little black dress, size 10, fits great. Each piece was $1.
Mary has wanted to go to the new "Wet Seal" clothing store here in town. I finally let her. They had a 60% off clearance prices sale. Mary was able to send text to the store for 10% more off. I bought a pair of black skinny jeans size 9 and a long stretchy slim skirt size large. I'm guessing a large is size 9-11 there. At women's store a large would be a 12-14. Oh well, I was just lucky their clothes fit me, lol. I'm looking forward to wearing my skinny jeans with big baggy sweaters this winter!

Skinny Jeans!!!!!!!!! Yay 8)

Love my skinny jeans! :D
-
My jeans are black, now I want blue denim. They have high waist too. I'm not losing any more weight but my clothes in my closet were getting loose. So glad we went shopping.
-
Mine are a size 10.I just have the blue.I havent seen them in black. :)
-
I like them because they are stretchy and that makes them so comfortable. The jeans I got also came in dark gray and fall brick red color, but not denim. They did have denim skinny jeans, but not on clearance. Mine were regular $34, I paid $10.

I love my skinny jeans, too! :) :) :)
But I must confess I have a couple jeans that I wore about 80 pounds ago when I'm just laying around the house.
To me, they're like robes that surround my legs. :D :D :D
But you won't see me in public with them. ;)

Thank you everyone, this is what is worrying me now. I have some symptoms but no idea if it's the Lipitor I take or my menopause. Emailed the doctor about my fatigue, balance, not being able to form words sometimes and cannot drive at night anymore. All they said was take the blood test. So here is the results-

Hmmm You should for sure talk to your doc about those symptoms :( I have to say I'm not a fan of Lipitor or other meds like it. :-\
-
I agree with TooSweet you should talk to your doctor ;)

My aunt was a charge nurse at a hospital in Michigan. I chatted with her last night and she said that I should get off Lipitor right away and take fish oil & garlic supplements.

I took myself off Crestor a long time ago due to the dangers of taking statins.
I agree with Umpa and TooSweet. Talk to your doctor.
There is something going on that doesn't look right.
I'll say an extra prayer for you.

Bad advice, you are on lipitor for a reason. You need to find out whats going on with you.I am a Herbalist and I can tell you garlic and Omegas are not a replacement for lipitor :)
-
I agree about the garlic & omega 3. I already get plenty of that in the way I eat. It's awful that doctors put people on statins just because their numbers "look" high. Basically the only high things were my LDLs and HDLs. There are studies that suggest that in women after certain age are not at risk with high LDLs. I need to find those sites again, I think one was on webMD and another medical site & more.
-
You're right, Susie.
It's sad that doctors immediately resort to statin drugs when cholesterol numbers are out of whack. :(
They should be on the hunt for the cause of those numbers.
The problem is statins only treat the cholesterol symptoms, but not the cause.
And as you know, statins can cause other problems themselves.
I pray your doctor figures out what's wrong or refers you to someone who can.

My doctor got my case about how low my chest hangs, excuse me, I breast fed 2 babies (at age 21 and age 39) and I'm not 20 years old, lol. Talk about making a patient feel bad about their body. I know she did not need to harm my feelings, which she didn't because at that moment I thought she was joking. Apparently she wasn't, oh well. She did praise me for my dedication and good work on my weight.
-
Absolutely speechless in regards to your doctor and your chest - I mean -what the he##'. What has that got to do with anything? You didn't go and do it on purpose. We aren't all perky 20 year olds.
-
I think I would have to find a new doctor
-
Oh my goodness!! Not very professional if you ask me >:( Who does she think she is??
-
Good Lord, Susie!
What the heck is wrong with your doctor? :-\ :-\ :-\
Sounds like she has the bedside manor of Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street.
I agree with Umpa!
You need a doctor that understands that our emotional health effects our physical health.
