sassafras
« on: August 25, 2011, 06:08:42 PM »
I wanted to share this with you all, if you like the 'root beer' type taste, our Kroger has Pappy's Sassafras tea, it is liquid in a bottle on the top shelf over the teas at our store.  www.sassafrastea.com
I just add two Tbsp. of it to ice water, hot water or to a glass of club soda and I really enjoy it, no calories, no carbs.
You can use sweetner if you wish but I enjoy it without it.

Yeah Umpa, I am going to stop the Crystal Light PURE. I know that is what caused my plateau. I don't eat desserts so I really want something sweet at night when it's hot. I just got the sassafrass today and I think that will do the trick.

Sansucre have you tried Renas milkshake? I would cut the serving size in half for a evening shake but it is yummy goodness!I made a peanut butter chocolate shake and I was stuffed all day. ;)

Is that a product you can buy online or a recipe from someone who posted it here?

I find it at my Kroger grocery store on the top shelf where the boxes of teas are.
