Yesterday afternoon was very tough for me and I did not eat much of anything... I learned that my sister had just died.
Her next door neighbor and good friend called her several times yesterday without answer.
She called me to get permission to enter my sister's house to check up on her.
My sister was found in her bed laying flat on her back and did not appear to have struggled before passing.
Her 77th birthday would have been March 7, 2011.
She was 18 years older than me and had a number of painful health issues (none weight related).
At least now I know she is no longer in pain and happy in heaven with my mom, dad, and brother.
I am now the last of those two generations.
I will be going over to my older son's house tomorrow to watch the Superbowl with him and my youngest son.
This loss has devastated them as well.
I hope that the game will bring our spirits up.
We will have a small simple memorial sometime this next week.
If you do not hear very much from me for a while in the near future, I hope you'll understand.
Regards,
Tony

Oh, Tony, I am sooo very sorry. To have lost a brother and now a sister must be very difficult. I am so glad that you have your sons nearby to comfort each other and forget for awhile while you watch the game.....laughter IS the best medicine and I'm sure it's what your sister would want you to do. Take Care....Buffy

Tony, please find comfort and peace in knowing that your "FTS family" is sharing in your sorrow. Although we are very sad, I know your heart is broken. I am happy you said your sister is in heaven with your mom, dad and brother and the joy of knowing you will see her again in heaven for all who have asked JESUS into their hearts will spend eternity in heaven. Take care and looking forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Tony I am so sorry to hear about your sister. My families thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything we can do please let us know.
-
Thank you all for the prayers and condolences.
My sister's passing is a reminder to me that no one is promised tomorrow on this Earth.
So live everyday as if it were your last. For the following day, you may be meeting Him face to face.
Continue to be kind and giving to others so that the Lord will reward you many times over.
I feel so blessed to have a second family here on this forum that shows so much caring and compassion for others.
Heartfelt Thanks,
Tony
