Title: SUPER BOWL
Post by: buffyhergy on February 05, 2011, 01:15:48 PM
I know that some are probably feeling deprived because our way of eating doesn't quite fit in with Super Bowl fun.  I wanted you to know that KFC is having a special on their buckets of chicken.....10 pieces for $10......I think it's nationwide.  I went to their website and it stated that their grilled chicken is 0grams of carbs and 0grams of sugar.  Eureka!  We can party!!! If you would be sharing with others, you can mix your bucket and get part crispy and part grilled.....Just don't be tempted with the crispy!.....GO PACKERS!

Welcome to the family, buffyhergy!  :) :) :)

If your looking for a low carb dipping sauce for that chicken, check this recipe.

http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=1986.new (http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=1986.new)

Just omit adding chicken directly to the sauce while heating.
After just a few minutes prep time, it should be ready to serve!
You can also vary the amount of "hot sauce" to suit your taste.

It should be YUMMY!!!  :) :) :)

Have fun!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the welcome and the tip.   I have fallen in love with Ken's Creamy Caesar for both dipping sauce and on raw baby spinach.  It has 0carb, 0sugar.  I live in CA and this is made in MA, so I assume it's available for everyone.  It's strange because some of the bottles said 1carb, 1sugar and the ones I bought said 0......go figure!

Welcome Buffy & Ausgirl - I'm new too (on Day 3), so that's three of us very new newbies off the blocks and ready to race to success.  Had a little struggle last night - pure mental food desire - but made it through with a little help from a few pork rinds and homemade guacamole.

Well done Seagail,

I had the same thing happen last night - after supper really wanted something sweet - so I got in the kitchen and whipped up some heavy cream and added some raspberry sugar free syrup - and had a little of that and the craving went away!
