thank you........all i did was follow the spinach bread recipe, except i replaced the almond meal with 5oz of ground up pork rinds replaced the mozzarella with cheddar and added a couple shakes of crushed red pepper>>>and baked it at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until the top was golden brown and walla there you have it..... whats great about this is it stays together very well, the almond meal was kind of flimsy,i am getting ready to toast a piece right now,i told my wife i am going to bake a "loaf of the week" starting next week...in My mind i am thinking of something with diced olives for next week!!!!!! wheres umpa...i am looking for her praise also!!!! thanks again! Gary

oh and i left out the spinach and roasted garlic....

:o  umpa as i mentioned earlier i loved your spinach bread/pizza recipe..but my wife not so much, she didnt like the almond flavor in the crust/ or the nutty texture. call me crazy  ::) but i laid awake for hours last nite thinking of a way to solve that issue, and i arrived at a solution!!!!!>>> i think... so to test my theory i made a loaf of bread with a carbfree flour/meal substitute and flavored to my taste...and i believe i have a virtually carbfree bread>> i was worried that the taste or texture wouldnt be very pleasing, but both were suprisingly good, and i think it would be excellent for pizza crust also and in my mind i have an idea that would also make it possible to use this substitute in sweets as well>>> do dry spices have any carbs??? all i put into this was eggs, cheddar cheese, baking powder salt and spices>>> and my top secret flour substitute!!!!  here are pics of it!!!  *** if you click on the pictures you get a full screen view and can see the texture****

Sides and Snacks / Pizza Recipes-add yours

:o ok the pizza was awesome,i followed the spinach bread recipe but left out the spinach and the garlic,i wasnt sure what size pan to use but i didnt want the deep dish,so i used the biggest pan we had and the dough filled it perfectly. i wasnt going to be eating the pizza till later so i made the crust but only baked it for 20 min. and took it out to cool. after cooling i put a light layer of pizza sauce on (3 carbs per 1/4 cup) i added provelone cheese, ham, pepperoni and fresh mushrooms, then put the whole pan in the fridge. we ride bikes every tues & thurs nite,i wanted to be able to pop it in the oven as soon as we got home, baked till the toppings were done and sit down to watch idol with my newfound favorite food...all i can say is YUM!!! ;) it was great. when i 1st took the crust out of the oven it smelled wonderful and i thought what if you substituted different cheeses for different flavors??? cheddar>hot pepper>swiss>whatever you choose and after the "crust" is baked cut it into squares and store in the fridge and use it as "bread" or "cracker" put your favorite meat and or cheese on a piece and put it in the toaster oven till melted??? what say you to that idea?????  oh and i have enough pizza leftover for lunch tomorrow :D

i bought the book on sunday April 11Th,read it cover to cover and started on Monday April 12Th,after 1 week i am 11 lbs lighter and feel soooooo much better. A little backround,i lost my job on Jan.22ND and took it as sign from the man upstairs that it was my chance to get my health back!!! for 2 1/2 months i was exercising and watching what i ate,but lost ZERO lbs, i was very frustrated!!!! I went to Barnes and noble and looked thru ALL the health/fitness offerings and FAT TO SKINNY was the only one that i found that i felt i could commit to. I am nowhere near where i want to be (started at 275lbs minus 11=264lbs) but i am completely zoned in to the program...i will keep ya posted weekly on my progress!!!!! thanks Gary
