Hey Umpa and everyone!!
I made the maple sausage egg muffins ( http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=811.0 (http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=811.0) ) this past weekend and my family loved them...but since they have 3 more egg whites than whole eggs, I have many (I doubled the recipe) egg yolks left!
What can I make with egg yolks...I was thinking some kind of custard...but I thought I'd ask all the creative minds on this forum to see what we can come up with!! Are you up for the challenge!?!

great sauce thickener, hollandaise, Bearnaise, Alfredo, additive to custard ice cream base, custards, add an extra yolk to omelets....the list goes on. They can be frozen and used in the future as well. ;)

Also makes a great face mask! ;) Put them on your face and let them dry and rinse.Egg Whites make a good face mask to firm.Egg yolks moisterise. :)

I'm sure I've had "egg on my face" before...but not literally!! lol :D

I didn't know that egg yolk could be frozen either. Can the whole egg be frozen as long as it is not in the shell?

Doug says yes they can be frozen because they are full of fat. ;)
