Happy New Year Forum!
« on: January 11, 2011, 11:11:05 AM »
Boy, did I get swallowed up in the holidays...but glad to be back here with everyone!  We are "iced in" today so seemed like a good time to reconnect.  I have to mention that I made your coconut cake the other day Umpa and it was luscious, and I am not a big fan of coconut!!!  I am so out of the loop, has the bakery book come out yet?

Happy to hear from you Paula.  Hope the New Year finds you and Doug healthy.  I think Doug & Umpa said the bakery book will be out at the end of January.  We are all anxious to see it.

It's nice to hear from you again, Paula!  :)

Many of us were challenged during the holidays.

Personally, I did not gain. But I did not lose either. This was due to eating portions that were too large.
In the last couple of days, my weight has just started falling again.

I haven't made Umpa's coconut cake yet.
I'll have to make some soon!
What you do today is what matters!

Well, I maintained pretty well but Doug let his blood sugar get too high again so now we are back in the lowering mode.  His doctor advised him to join the gym again so we are going to do that this week when the ice leaves!
