Ok here's the down lo. I am not losing weight like I want to, so I have decided to ween myself off soda, cut out sugar alcohols and what not. I am switching to crystal light just so that I can have a flavored drink BUT I just read the label and while it says no carbs no sugar and such, the ingredient list says it has corn syrup and maltodextrin. Should I be concerned about this?

SELTZER - Sodium and sugar free carbonated water with no additives
 
0 cal
0 carbs
0 sugar
0 sodium

There are many flavors available..have you ever tried them?

 ::)  BEEBS i am withya shawty... i was thinking about this today while walking my girlfriend...follow this.... 5 years ago i weighed 230 lbs>>> almost 2 weeks ago i weighed 275lbs>> it took me 5 yrs to put on 45 lbs>>> 9 lbs per year>>> if i gained weight at the rate i expect to lose weight i'd be like a bazillion lbs by now!!!!!! so if one week i lose 11 lbs and the next only 2 i wont let myself get discouraged as long as i keep progressing>> my 2 week weigh in is monday>>> as long as i lost something i'll be happy!!!!

I just feel like I may be consuming to many sugar alcohols and really soda isnt all the great for me. As for seltzer water I have never tried it. Is it pricey?

I love not pricey. So what is different with sletzer water and regualr water. It has no carbs or sugar, but is it fuzzy like soda?

hey beebs.... i have been drinking powerade zero>>> no carbs or calories and a variety of flavors>>> and sometimes can really find it on the cheap at krogers!!! :P

Dont forget with seltzer you can use the sugar free coffee syrups(hazelnut,vanilla,chocolate,etc)its called an italian soda.YUM! Pomegranite is my favorite! ::)

Yes it is fuzzy like soda.

Umpa, do those syrups contain sucralose?
I can't use it as it makes me itch..
Also does adding the syrup make the seltzer go flat?

Coffee section of the grocery store,walmart,Biglots, kmart, etc.they are very common and a zero!

Dougs favorite is seltzer, sugarfree hazelnut syrup and a splash off cream! Its wonderful!

All I could find was vanilla flavor but it made all the difference. Yays for Italian soda lol!
