What is a good fiber choice? How important is it that we eat it in our diets?

High fiber veggies and GG Bran Crispbread,

here's the veggie list with the highest fiber content in order of fiber amount.

Avocado, tomatoes, edamame (soy nuts), Jicama, cabbage, eggplant, fennel, green beans, okra, broccoli, cauliflower all contain fiber. You'll also get fiber in smaller amounts from all green leafy veggies. If you follow a good mix as prescribed in your FTS book you should get all the fiber you need on a daily basis. Be sure to mix and match.

Mine came 2 days ago, and I love it. Can't wait to crush it up and use it for breading stuff...

I have been eating the GG Crispbread for 3 years.  I love it (hubby tolerates it.)  Just be sure that you drink plenty of water!  The newest way I ate some was with some avocado mashed with some Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime seasoning.  It was very tasty.

Guacamole: have you ever heard of Sam the cooking guy? He has a great recipe for guacamole that I like to use. He adds no sour cream. It's avacado, a pinch of salt, onion, tomato, lime juice and I can't recall if there are any other spices off the top of my head. He has a web site with recipes on it and a TV cooking show. He is hilarious and fun to watch.
