Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wrapped in Bacon
« on: March 25, 2012, 10:19:09 PM »
I am going to try this:

I'm going to cut chicken breasts into thirds, dip them in sugar-free maple syrup, sprinkle them with garlic and chili powder, wrap with a piece of bacon and grill them on the bbq. What do you think about that?

If I make enough, I can cut it up and use it in a salad with walnuts and lettuce, and maybe a few raspberries or strawberries.

I do like liver, but I'll try this on chicken, steak and pork first!

I made this tonight and it was really good! I could have put a heavier sprinkle of chili powder and garlic on it, but it was fine as it was. More might have detracted... have to think about that when I eat the leftovers. Taste. Maybe get them ready to bbq earlier and let the spices sit on them for a while. Probably. Anyway, my company had seconds, thirds, fourths... guess they liked it.
